I am fascinated by learning and live my life is a series of experiments to uncover the fundamentals of mastery and skill acquisition.
In college I majored in three topics I had very little previous experience in, and in four years managed to outperform my peers, becoming one of just four of the UA College of Science's Outstanding Senior Finalists, and the only individual to be recognized as the outstanding senior of two different departments. I did all of this while completing three full years of research ranging from studying the evolution of the universe for NASA to my current project studying fundamental quantum behavior in nanoscale systems. I did this through an endless series of experiments, though which I have become (and am continuing to become) more productive and creative, a faster learner, happier, and a better athlete. I maintain this level of curiosity with all of my endeavors, and plan to continue to use the scientific method to improve all aspects of my life. Currently I am interested in computational physics, software development, skateboarding, and education (teaching others what I have uncovered from my personal experiments and experiences about the learning process). My future projects will most likely be heavily focused on one or more of these topics. If you have any questions, including what projects I'm currently working on, please feel free to ask me via e-mail. |
